Shelley should be much more popular. Maybe PZ's push will get her there, where she belongs, sooner. I suspect she has a ginormous battle upstream against the anti-atheist forces within the music promotion industry. We all need to help her out as much as possible. I bet she would be happy to appear at atheists conferences, on podcasts and other events, with her band.
They also have a song featuring her bassist kicking out an amazing jam of "Hair" by Jazz Bassist Larry Graham:
