Hot News for Christians: The Devil works for God

In the opinion of many Christians if a person does evil deeds they will go to Hell and be punished by Satan and/or his demons.
Hitler, Stalin and assorted historical bad guys, murderers, rapists etc are supposedly receiving their punishment in Hell because they committed acts of evil; so in the minds of many Christians they were doing the work of bad old Satan.
Then why would he punish them?
If they were doing the evil stuff he wanted them to do, surely…
