So I’m laying down and I just finished writing the first morning lucid in my phone.. it’s about 8am and I still feel kind of tired.. Usually I fall back to sleep and have dreams but none of them lucid. This time was much much different. I lay back down but couldn’t get comfortable until I turned onto my back.. I never sleep on my back.. Almost immediately I start to doze off. I noticed I wasn’t really sleepy, more like my body was tired and I was along for the trip. So here’s what happened.

I’m laying there for about 5 minutes when I feel my hand move on it’s own.. NO.. It floated out of place.. But the weird thing was it felt like I had two hands on one side.. one lighter than the other.. I noticed this immediately and tried to control it.. as soon as I tried to move my “shadow” hand, it disappeared.

I stopped trying to control it and the feeling came RIGHT back.. But now I felt my legs start to float.. then my whole body seemed to be separating from itself.. then I heard some kind of howl.. I can’t really describe this howl.. this weird groaning moaning howl.. but I knew it was nothing to be afraid of.. All in my mind. I just relaxed on that thin line of being awake and sleep. I was then electrocuted.. A jolt of energy paralyzed me.. happened very quickly.. so fast that I didn’t have time to even be in shock lol.

I lie to you not I felt as if I were being abducted. I was moved from off of my bed still flat on my back.. and out of my window.. I didn’t see anything until my head passed the window pane.. I saw the back of a house which was not mine.. It had some bushes and I think it was a blue house.. white trim..

I was pulled from my bed horizontally and stood up all by some unseen force.. Above where my head would soon be.. I saw a purple gas mixed with violet Lightning (something like when that movie with jim carrey when the bad guy was about to put the mask on..) Emanating out of nothingness..  I was stood up right underneath it.. It made no sound and didn’t seem threatening.. I still wasn’t allowed to move. Then I was flown, kind of like auto-pilot, over a small town.. Everyone seemed to have their lights on.. It felt like a loving place..

I was then dropped off in between two cars by some weird parking lot.. That’s when I was finally able to move and walk.. I noticed my bed was still fucking attached to my back! lol I thought I left it but apparently not.. I relaxed a little and it fell off and disappeared.. That’s when I noticed people walking my way.. all females.. Navy Blue shirts.. I stopped one of them.. But I grabbed her as if I were going to take advantage of her.. she seemed frightened but didn’t resist.. then she kissed me and hugged me as if she knew me and I’d been gone for a long time.. I was about to push her away and ask her where I was but then I woke up..

Lucid dream? I mean I was VERY aware of the whole thing from the beginning but I don’t know.. I give up trying to classify these things.

Yup that was my problem in the beginning.. not only that.. you have to set aside time for it.. and that is a bit much to do at first..

I think I know how to induce lucid dreaming, I've read on this and my friend has shown me how he does it. I've tried a couple of times. Just not persistently enough =)

:D Michel Maaaaaaannn I'm telling you... You can do ANYTHING you want! I have a blog dedicated to it.. I post lessons on how to do it.. and also give advice.. It's not a special skill that only a few people possess.. It's something that can be learned by all.. if you want I can point you in the right direction! And yessss It definitely does take up the time wasted sleeping.. what is it like 1/3 of our lives we spend asleep?

Well, all my dreams are happening to 'me' - none of them are lucid though. The me of my dreams makes decisions of all sorts but never about the dream state itself. I certainly wish I could become lucid when I dream - it would seem that my time spent sleeping would not be so 'wasted' =)

@Michel No I wasn't "confused" I'm used to this state of dreaming.. I knew exactly what was going on. I was aware as I am right now as I'm typing this @adirana But when you're experiencing it, IT IS happening to you lol..  I had another lucid this morning and I kind of went in and out of being aware I was dreaming.. But this "whatever you want to call it" seemed a lot more "real".. I have different Lucids.. some are more intense than others.. This one was extremely intense.. I had just woken up and Didn't even feel tired when this one happened.. I was just going to let my body rest.. I was fully aware.

My friend Jay says it is very easy to confuse dream vividness or false awakenings with lucid dreaming. He says they are part of a continuum of states. He prefers talking about lucid incidents rather than lucid dreams.

It would seem that lucidity is realizing the "dreamy" nature of the world you find yourself in and willfully testing it.

But, were you aware that you were dreaming? Or you thought the whole thing was actually happening to you?
