Pages of furiously written scripture

Scripture can actually be enlightening when looked at in a historical context, with astrotheology, shamanism, paganism, mysticism, philosophy, art & entertainment, mythology, politics, conspiracy theory, innebriology, and  extra-terrestrial life in mind.  Shame the ignorant dont get it.

haha.. spose i should come clean..  when i have to listen to some religitard preaching passages from the bible, to me the words are evidence they have got it all wrong, and its only through sheer ignorance they believe them to be a credible argument (ie the word of god) When in actual fact there is clear references to the stars & planets (ie astrotheology) use of hullucinogenic substances (shamanism) etc etc etc.. I believe it was originally a play acted and performed that has morphed over the years like a massive game of Chinese Whispers (more or less as John Allegro believes) .  The words can be construed to justify the existance of ETs, for political gain..all sorts of crazy stuff... hence why I think its enlightening only if you have an open mind to all perceptions of the passages... rather than 'ignore' what contradicts your point.. make any sense?

Well, there was this guy on another site who kept on posting videos of himself getting pissed drunk while reading from the Book of Mormon. He didn't go very far on each session - at a shot per verse. On last count he was up to more than twenty installments.

All of these activities are products of culture, of course they are all interesting to look at, and to study. I'm not sure I get your point, though. Who are the ignorant who don't get it?
