A bird's-eye view of my birthplace, Québec (the city, not the province.) We flew last Saturday for about an hour in the early morning. There was a bit of a haze at first but the weather was absolutely gorgeous. We might have caught the most colorful time of the season, it was incredibly beautiful.
The flamboyant death of nature.
I took a few pictures.
Marc had arranged this little excursion, Alain Miville De Chêne was our pilot.
Nice Comment
Canadian registration. =)
It's a C172.
Then a c172 or c182, I've flown many a small aircraft, way too much fun.
T'was a four seater. (Thankfully I was alone in the back so I could actually move about and take pictures. Had we been four on board, I don't think I could have done it.)
There were no clouds to speak of other than the rising morning mist. We played hide-and-seek with mountain summits.
This has nothing to do with flying on fat airliners. It's like comparing a bus tour with motorcycle riding.
Tiny would be 152 or 150, both two seaters. 172 would be the next step up with 4 seats. What fun, thats real flying to me. Feel the air currents, play hide and seek with any cumulus clouds around, oh yeah.
@Neal - A real tiny Cessna.
Bad colors. I read an article that said the reason some of the forests are turning colors this year is because of bugs killing them because of climate change rather than seasonal changes.
Oooooo, beautiful! We're going to go on vacation to Quebec city for next fall, my husband and I have been talking about for a while. We'll fly to Montreal and then go to Quebec City from there. Too beautiful.
Which aircraft were you in, the cessna or piper?
