Christian Nationalist preacher Julie Green, an affiliate of the Doug Mastriano for Governor campaign in Pennsylvania, has threatened US President Joe Biden with assassination in a new "prophecy", declaring that "All it takes is one shot," to kill in "a takedown of the Biden", who will not know the attack is coming "until it's too late".
More on the violent prophecies of Julie Green and other radical anti-democratic Christian Nationalism on the eve of Election Day 2022 are in this week's episode of the podcast Stop Christian Nationalism.
Nice Comment
People who publically urge the assassination of others -- and not just of political leaders -- need to prosecuted.
People who violently attack the political rallies, marches or demonstrations of others -- need to be prosecuted.
Violence against others, and the advocacy of violence against others, should not be tolerated in a democratic society.
This should apply across the political spectrum.
It doesn't matter if the person advocating, or carrying out, violence claims that their targets are in league with Satan, are globalist-communists, are fascists-white supremacists.
The law must be applied impartially to all. The Rule of Law is one of the hallmarks of an advanced, civilized society. It is a precious conquest of humanity. Everyone, regardless of their political beliefs, must support it.
I'm with you, Loren. Threatening physical violence for political purposes is terrorism.
Christian Nationalism is Christian terrorism.
They've gone past "saying the quiet part out loud" at this point. They are openly calling for assassinations of public figures. Worse, the injunction about violent or inciting speech is by and large being IGNORED by law enforcement.
I don't mind telling you, this goes about 10 light-years past "disturbing" for me.
