Update: 2022
Hello, everyone just wanted to make a quick update on my life, If anyone cares. lol. Lot has happened since the last time I posted. I published three books. I changed my name. I came out as a pansexual transgender and changed my gender marker to female. I helped start a local LGBTQ activist group in my area. It's been fulfilling!

Thank you, brass bullocks (metaphorical or otherwise) are a necessity when dealing with the bible belt of the states. It's ridiculous here.

The UK is on the whole a very accepting country, especially in regards to LBGTQ matters so I have great admiration for anyone who lives in the Bible belt and is out, Gay and Trans.

I've had some unexpected support, in my community. I live in the middle of the bible belt of Oklahoma so things are iffy here, but it's been pretty amazing really. The hardest part is figuring myself out. The internal struggle I went through not knowing who I was versus the part I had to (or felt I had to) play for both safety and community. But in the end, I realized life wasn't worth living if I wasn't myself and I decided to free myself rather than kill myself.

Sounds like you've been busy. Congrats on transitioning and well done for your LGBTQ work. I'd be interested in knowing what was the hardest part of your journey.
