Is God Relevant Today? by Anthony Strano

I enjoy controversy, it allows for thought. When I post I tend to post items that will create dialogue this is something I do on my own community, I may not necessarily agree with the post but if it enables us to discuss then I am all for it. Perse

As people are faced with crises from every angle, tossed into the midst of human-made tragedies and natural calamities, they ask, "Where is God?" As traditional securities crumble then do we…

BREAKING: We Have Found The Secret Atheist Plan To Destroy Christmas

I'm an atheist. My family is Jewish, so we celebrate Chanukah, but I celebrate Christmas with friends. I was going to spend the holidays having a good time with my family and friends, maybe exchanging a gift or two, but apparently, instead I have to go make everyone else miserable? I wish the Atheist Christmas Destruction Director would have sent me the memo.

Don't worry, Pat. I'd never steal Christmas from someone who's probably gotten coal in his stocking for the last 60… Continue

Angus T. Jones blasts 'Two and a Half Men,' calls the hit series 'filth' says the show is part of the plan of "the enemy"— presumably Satan.

The identity factor.

Actually, this came to me in the form of a dream, but when I woke up I thought it was worth pursuing somemore about it. I saw "in my dream" my name in bold letters, papers behind it, and next to it to the left, many I.D cards.

This was something I really never thought about. To be truthful, I have always wanted to blend in; to melt into crowds or not to even be noticed in smaller groups.

But, for some reason, maybe my rebellious personality coming through, it never quite…

Prof. A's Science Fix- November 16 2012 Edition

This edition will be an all-biology edition. I have been unable to keep up with general science news and blog writing as I would like to do, but fortunately, the “obstacle” was actually doing science so I’m not complaining. Biology is my comfort zone and I can process information and write much faster if I stick to it. So you’re getting a Bio Fix today.  My apologies…

The extraordinary Uruguayan president, José Mujica

José "Pepe" Mujica, 77, is possibly the world's most atypical politician. He used to be an urban guerrilla fighter and spent 14 years in prison during the military dictatorship in the 70s, 80s. A few years after his release from prison (amnesty was granted to political prisoners after the dictatorship ended and democracy returned), he was elected to Congress and then became a member of the Uruguayan Senate. He has been President since 2010 (Uruguay has 5 year Presidential terms). He does not…
