There is a thing that I see as a commonality in religious minded people. I've been calling it Venerate The Strong Man. Christianity seems to exemplify the idea, the drive, to Venerate The Strong Man.…Continue
If I remember correctly, there's a term for when Christians try to make a point or teach the Bible by using various unrelated statements from around the Bible. Does that sound familiar to anyone?Continue
dead jawa has not received any gifts yet
This is just a quick idea out of left field. The root of this idea is in part based on a prior blog post I wrote about how there's no resurrection in the Biblical resurrection story. Briefly, Jesus dies and goes to the afterlife, then goes to a different part of the afterlife, then appears occasionally as a ghost. It's a missing body story, but at no point is it a resurrection story.
What I'd like to do is throw out one more conspiratorial influence behind some of this story. In the…Continue

It seems like unless I pay for my own website that I don't have any good place to blog all the ideas I wish to blog. Like now, I have a thought that's not about atheism that I'd like to remember and maybe even share and neither does it fit any other site I visit. It seems like this is best place to express ideas, especially if they might be controversial, compared to any other site I can post at. Am I going to post a political thought to a video game forum? No that just doesn't make sense.…Continue
