"Onyango, being young has little to do with being active (although most people become less active with age). I, for one, walk, hike, jog, box, work, etc. every day. For my age (77), I think I'm in excellent shape. Yes, you should learn to swim.…"

"Well, being young, at least at the moment, I am quite active. I run and cycle. I have never learnt to swim but i am thinking of it. I have an ambition of trying a triathlon maybe next year. As for daily steps, my max in one day was i think 35k."

Since my Road Scholar trip to England was cancelled, Plan B called for a "vacation" to visit my sister in Edinburg, Virginia. I just returned.

From Indiana, I drove south of Cincinnati to Big Bone Lick State Park to see where pre-historic mammal fossils have been found. They got trapped in the salt lick mud. There wasn't much to see, but it was interesting.

I drove east to Red River Gorge area in Kentucky and hiked up to to see a natural bridge. Pretty neat. The next day, I…
