(Though a real-life "Silence complainer: Too Loud" is also known as Trompette en Chamade, Tuba Magna, State Trumpet, and other names...)

Speaking of cell phones, some years back I attended a (thankfully not very religious, if at all) memorial service. The last person to share memories was the man's oldest son. He spoke for a few minutes, then his cell phone rang. And he answered it.

We proceeded to hear one side of a conversation about how wonderful heaven was. No doctors or hospitals needed, but plenty of cute nurses and physical therapists... and when they played soccer, both teams won.

Reminds me of Marshall Brain's call for us in Why Won't God Heal Amputees? to create a "Heaven on Earth", as well as his appreciation that church communities minus delusion can be a force for good (meeting to focus on goodness; supporting each other through good and bad times; helping people in the larger community and the world).
