Political Visions.

Political Visions.

Welcome to Political Visions.
The aim of this group is to learn about other peoples political visions and discuss those visions. How they envision the structure of the political system to be. The roles of the participants within the system. It could be a broad outline view or just an element or sub element of the political system. It is about political ideas whether they be socialistic, conservative, liberal, big government, little government, the role of the people within the political system, the role of government at all levels of your country. What you think should be in a constitution and a charter of rights and freedoms within a society. The obligations that those freedoms and rights impose on you as an individual.
Post your vision as a discussion to make it easier to discuss and understand your ideas for a political system.

Is Fascism coming to the U.S.?

President Obama and Holder, the Attorney General should have indited people accused of war crimes (torture) to prevent that activity from happening in the future.

As is the only person punished for war crimes is John Kiriakou

The Don said he will use torture.

His pick for chair of Homeland Security  tends to prove Trumps vision of torture.

Trump's potential DHS pick wants to imprison possibly 1 million at Gitmo and doesn't believe there is any police brutality.

Donald Trump met with Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke on Monday at Trump Tower. Clarke, who was an avid supporter of Trump during the 2016 campaign, is suspected to be tapped as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Trump also met with the homeland security advisor during George W. Bush’s administration, Frances Townsend and plans to meet with Texas Representative Michael McCaul (R) who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee. Clarke is a fourth-term elected sheriff in Milwaukee, Wisconsin who is known for his extreme views on policing.

1. Clarke proposed that about 1 million people should be sent to Guantanamo Bay if they’re using “jihadi rhetoric” online

Nearly a year go, Clarke went on his radio show, “The People’s Sheriff” on The Blaze network and said that terrorist and ISIS sympathizers in America need to be rounded up and shipped off to Guantanamo, according to Mother Jones. He proclaimed on the program, “It is time to suspend habeas corpus like Abraham Lincoln did during the civil war.”

“I suggest that our commander in chief ought to utilize Article I, Section 9 and take all of these individuals that are suspected, these ones on the internet spewing jihadi rhetoric . . . to scoop them up, charge them with treason and, under habeas corpus, detain them indefinitely at Gitmo,” Clarke said in the program. He guessed that about several hundred thousand or even a million sympathizers were in the United States and needed to be imprisoned.

2. He refers to the Black Lives Matter movement as “Black Lies Matter”

Clarke is a regular contributor to Fox News, and blamed progressive policies for perpetuating a culture of violence and poverty in black communities on the channel last August. In July, he wrote an article for Fox blaming the Black Lives Matter movement for the murder of Dallas police officers.

“You see, Black Lives Matter is proving itself to seek only one end – and that is discord, alienation among Americans, rise in hate, and destruction of community bonds,” Clarke wrote in the article. “Black Lives Matter has no more to do with black issues than Students for a Democratic Society had to do with Democracy.”

What 6 Top Election Experts Are Saying About the Next Big Step in t...

It should be apparent that prior to the general election primary candidates are selected based on power rather than citizens.

As the Don said elections are rigged. The malfeiesance at the Democratic nominating committee that held Bernie Sanders back and resulted in Wasserman Shults quitting should be evidence that the electorial process is broken.

A half-dozen of the nation's top computer scientists who have spent years analyzing how electronic voting machines can malfunction or be hacked to alter vote counts have filed affidavits in the Wisconsin presidential recount in support of hand-counting the ballots.

The scientists have collectively spent decades advising top state election officials and the federal government’s election oversight panels on computer security and preventing inaccurate or tampered vote counts. Their affidavits support the idea that the Wisconsin Elections Commission should order the state’s counties to recount all paper ballots by hand, instead of leaving it up to counties to decide if they will do that or run them through high-speed scanners as on Election Day. They also make the case that hostile foreign governments like Russia are quite capable of hacking into state election systems, inserting malware to a range of components to alter the reported vote counts and then disappearing with no trace.

These assertions are unprecedented in a federal election recount and strongly bolster the Green Party’s argument that the states conducting a presidential recount should conduct the most comprehensive recount possible, starting with hand-counting paper-based elements in voting systems. In Wisconsin, that includes ballots and tapes from touchscreen machines.

A Wisconsin court began hearing testimony Tuesday afternoon on the Green Party's suit to force a manual recount. The court ruled against the Green Party, with Dane County circuit judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn saying the Greens fell short of the legal requirements to order a hand count, even though the judge personally thinks a hand count is a good idea.

"I follow the law. That's who I am despite my personal opinions," said Bailey-Rihn. "It's (the counties’) decision. It's their discretion. I may disagree with it… but I must follow the law."

What follows are excerpts from the court filings by the six computer scientists supporting a manual recount.

Check out the National Atheist Party

The National Atheist Party seeks to politically represent U.S. atheists and all who share the goal of a secular government by gathering the political strength of secularists nationwide while being guided by the values of secular humanism and evidenced-based reasoning.

The National Atheist Party is a Constitutional movement dedicated to the preservation of the Founding Fathers’ vision of a secular nation. We are a progressive secular political organization whose current incarnation is as a non-profit 527 political organization. As we grow and evolve, we intend and expect to develop into a full-fledged political party. We are assembled for two important reasons: to give a political voice to U.S. atheists, who have never enjoyed political representation before; and to stand athwart those elements and groups that would seek to undermine the secular foundations of this great country.

The National Atheist Party is open to people of all races, sexes and sexual orientations, and cultures. We are committed to a government free of superstition and bias and are guided by principles of equal opportunity, recognition of merit, and economic responsibility. The National Atheist Party does not seek to inhibit the religious practices or beliefs of any group, but is committed to the idea that religious preference is a private matter and has no place in the government or workplace. We support the separation of church and state and seek to ensure its strictest interpretation.

The National Atheist Party is a non-profit, 527 political organization devoted to issue advocacy. As a 527, we are able to attempt to influence the selection, nomination, election or appointment of individuals to a federal, state, or local public office or office in a political organization. The election of the Presidential or Vice Presidential electors is also part of the exempt function of a 527 political organization.

If you would like to assist us in this process or perhaps are interested in running for political office yourself, please make us aware of your aspirations and we will determine how to assist you in reaching that personal goal. We are looking for volunteers for leadership positions in your state’s chapter as well as other key positions within the NAP nationally.

Check to see if you qualify for one of the current openings or please donate any amount you can spare. Not a member of the National Atheist Party yet? Please join us!

Baboons would behave better than  those clowns.   Ironic that a whole  segment of our society are cheering  on the possibility of having  no  government.
