‎"A recent study showed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstral cycle. For instance, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged, masculine features. If she is about to menstrate, on the other hand, she is more prone to be attracted to a man with scissors shoved in his temple."

There is "you" which stands for a person you are addressing. There is "you all" which is basically the same, but more familiar. Then there is "all you all" which is the plural form of you. =)

Similar to the Ukrainian language

Formal You = Ви ( Vee) "и" value is ee in english

Infromal you = Tи ( Tee )

Comment was by Adriana on December 1, 2012 at 5:14pm

@Davy, yes, since Michel and I are now using the informal "you" with each other, it means that when I meet him in person I can give him a hug and a kiss (I forgot if the Québecois kiss on both cheeks like the French or just one cheek).

Yes, having only one "you" in English is a big drawback, I agree.

The tutoiement (does not translate in English?) sets a clear boundary between inner and outer circles. It says something about how the two look at inter-personal relationships differently.

Yeah well every language has its nuances.

Comment was by Michel on December 1, 2012 at 3:47pm

Le tutoiement est une nuance importante qui manque à la langue anglaise..

Comment was by Adriana on December 1, 2012 at 3:31pm

@M: d'accord :-) Et tu peux me tutoyer aussi ;-)

Comment was by Michel on December 1, 2012 at 3:19pm

@Davy - No, no, no no, no no, no no, no no, no no, not at all!
