Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

Oh you must have had a great time Ian!!! I LOVE Rhapsody In Blue!!!

Comment was by Ian Mason on May 6, 2021 at 4:27pm
This evening the first symphony orchestra concert for months. A pleasant pot pourri of short pieces chosen by the conductor: 'Danse Macabre,' 'Rhapsody In Blue' and others.
Strict conditions for entry including a negative C19 test, masks and hand sanitiser everywhere. Great to hear live music and the musicians seemed happy to be playing for an audience again.

Chris B., your description of sounds and the ways they influence your day make it clear that your regaining hearing enriches your life and reduces your stress levels. It seems like a real WINNER, doesn't it! This is good news, indeed!

It saves a lot of misunderstandings and repeating remarks, Ian! Luca sounds good, still a soft voice, but of course she's careful because she doesn't want to sound like a male.

Comment was by Ian Mason on April 30, 2021 at 4:36am

Just came across this. You might not be glad for all the new sounds, Chris.

Comment was by Ian Mason on April 30, 2021 at 4:33am

That's good to hear (!) Chris. I wonder, how does Luca sound now? I bet she's glad on your behalf too.
