Well how about that? Tobaco will definitely shorten once time on earth. I started smoke around the age of 13 and quit just 3 years ago.

I was with my mother when she died of lung cancer and promised my self that my son would never have to see that struggle. Horrible!

To comment Neal; I'm slowly decomposing and I feel it :-D

Yeah, Chris! Keep at it and you'll quit! It's the right thing to do; your body will thank you.

Good for you Chris.  It's a tough addiction to break, but hang in there, you'll conquer the 'demon' yet! haha

I started smoking cigars in my mid-30s' in celebration of my divorce and got hooked on tobacco. I can't believe that I started smoking that late in life. Now I'm using Nocorette losenges to kick the habit. It seems to be effective and I think after using only two or three a day that I might be able to quit.

I heard that American indians didn't have alcohol. That doesn't make sense and I think it's a myth.

A friend of mine brought over a bunch of corn that I put into several ice chests. It was really hot. The ice melted and the water began bubbling and the sugar started fermenting before I had time to can it. I threw it out. I doubt that Native American would have wasted food that way and would have found that fermented corn (alcohol) is a good source of calories and safe way to store food.
