We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but you guys should check out Quora (www.quora.com). It's a question and answer site that aims to be serious, the goal is to share and increase the world's knowledge. There are philosophy sections, science section, atheism and religion sections, cultural sections of various types, etc. I encourage you guys to join. If you do, you can follow me and other people you think are interesting. There are tons of very thoughtful questions and answers. I answer this question: " is atheism a crutch fir those who can't bear the reality of God?" at http://www.quora.com/God/Is-Atheism-a-crutch-for-those-who-cant-bea... Check it out, I answered "No. Religion is a crutch for those who can't bear reality". It was a snarky response to an aggressive, loaded, narrow minded question. And it got lots of up votes . I think we'll find interesting people to follow and maybe some will want to join our discussions here.

I signed in to Quora, as long as I can sign in with Twitter, I will join.  Which I can, BTW.

I signed and it mentioned people I know who are on Quora - one of which was my daughter! A double plus++ to joining!

I see, you see a list of comments related to the topics you pick.

Start answering questions! Then we can ring people over here too. Mwahahahaha

I signed in and the first person I saw is our good prof.

WTF!?!?
You've taken over Quora?

Hahaha! No, it's because you don't follow enough people. You see only what I posted :-)

Just what I need.

I signed in with Facebook and left a comment. Looks like an interesting site.

I've been answering some questions about atheism on Quara for about 1-1/2 years. Some, if not most of the questions are pretty bad (stupid), so I tend to stay away.

Hey I need some help here. Apparently, creationists continue to believe in nonsense because of Dawkins!

It looks to me like you're doing fine. It seems to me that creationists would have have to answer the question.

Have you seen, or used ResearchGate? https://www.researchgate.net

My connection is so slow that the ning editor boxes aren't opening so I couldn't embed the link.

Yes I am in Research Gate
