My Father who later on in his working life was employed at the BBC Maida Vale studios less than a mile from where we lived, he was a Studio attendant and to my joy managed to get tickets for concerts organised by the BBC which made me very popular with the girls. One concert was at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge (Proms 87)   
 with Julian Bream headlining, I loved it,

I just learned on CBS Sunday Morning of the passing of virtuoso classical guitarist Julian Bream.  While I was never a huge fan of his work, Bream's treatment of Sir William Walton's Five Bagatelles for Guitar remains a staple in my collection and very well beloved for its various moods and expressions.
