Sly and the Family Stone - Life

 

I don't think this is actually meant to be an atheist song, but the "you don't have to die before you live" part made me recommend it.

 

 

The Stewart family was a deeply-religious middle-class household from Denton, Texas. (Wikipedia)

 

I guess that's enough to not take it as an atheist song.

Here's just four taken from a veritable cornucopia of such songs that I favor:
