Until that time, the law has to come to the defence of women.

Don't hold your breath.

Fifth member of Rotherham gang who groomed and abused vulnerable young girls is unmasked as he is jailed for 18 years

A member of a Rotherham grooming gang has been jailed for 18 years for indecently assaulting three girls between 1999 and 2001.
Mohammed Ahsan, 35, had previously pleaded guilty to abusing the three girls at Sheffield Crown Court.
Ahsan is the 20th person to be convicted as part of Operation Stovewood which is being run by the National Crime Agency.
Stovewood is investigating allegations of abuse and exploitation in Rotherham.
Philip Marshall of the NCA said: 'Ahsan's victims were chosen because of their vulnerability and I hope his conviction, like those that came before it, have demonstrated our commitment to getting justice for those victims as they rebuild their lives.'

Why is IPSO issuing guidance on Islam?

The press regular should not be telling journalists how to write about Muslims.

The Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), which regulates most of the UK’s national newspapers, announced in late 2018 that it had tasked an informal working group with drafting guidance for reporting on Islam and Muslims. Perhaps more questions should have been raised at the time about why a body like IPSO thought it appropriate to wade in on how journalists should write about matters of religion. A new Policy Exchange report warns of the dangers of the draft guidance. Everyone concerned about the free press should start paying attention.

Mierlo: Vandals deface British WW2 graves in the Netherlands
A big swastika was daubed inside a chapel at the cemetery

Vandals have spray-painted graffiti including a big swastika at a British and Commonwealth World War Two cemetery in the Netherlands.
Random letters were daubed on many headstones at the Mierlo cemetery, near Eindhoven in the southern Netherlands.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) said it was "appalled", just days after previous damage to the site.
Later this month Prince Charles will attend a Dutch commemoration of the 1944 Battle of Arnhem.
It will be part of the 75th anniversary of the Allies' liberation of the Netherlands from Nazi occupation.
The Mierlo cemetery is the final resting place of 664 British and Commonwealth soldiers and one Dutch soldier.

Kind of funny /ironic 'bout Hallal 'meat'

My understanding is in Abrahamic times it was about how to raise an animal and how to butcher it.

I wonder if the ancient history of Samentic people and problem with hogs is because pigs couldn't be hearded.

Number of victims of female genital mutilation in the Lancaster and Morecambe district on the rise
More victims of female genital mutilation in Morecambe Bay were seen for the first time by health services last year, figures show.
Experts and campaigners are calling for increased awareness of female genital mutilation (FGM) warning signs among younger women and girls.

In 2018-19, between one and seven victims of FGM were seen by health services in the Morecambe Bay Clinical Commissioning Group area, NHS Digital figures show.

Of those, at least one was having their injuries reported to the NHS for the first time.

Only approximate numbers are recorded in the data, to prevent identification of individual women.
FGM, where female genitals are removed, cut or injured for non-medical reasons, is illegal in the UK, and people carrying out or assisting with the procedure can be punished by up to 14 years in prison, even if it was abroad
