We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

According to this survey, approximately 15% of US atheists are Republican. 17% are unaffiliated, but I question how many have swayed to Republican after seeing the social justice nonsense during the last few years.

lol i joined this republican group only to be able to respond to your articles here.  I am as liberal as they come.

so, this survey says the overwhelming majority of those with enough critical thinking skills to realize there are no sky daddies are liberals?  this is not news!

Why oh why would anyone interested in social justice be lured into the republican party?
that makes zero sense, Lauren.  It must be a little lonely being a republican atheist.

I have only recently realized, were i forced to be stuck in a room with either a republican or with a religious person?
i would probably choose the religious person.  and i am as atheist as they come.
My tolerance for rightwingers is decreasing as i get older and older.  but, i'm working on it.

Republican Atheists has representation in 16 states, over 1,200 followers on Facebook and a number of foreign contacts. We are a growing organization who is constantly receiving more support.
