Ouch, Chelsea lost.

Yes, I saw that Chelsea won. Congrats to them--and you, as a fan.

                         Man. City 1 Chelsea 2

I hate to Crow about Chelsea's victories but tonight there was a fantastic game in the premier league against the league leaders Man. City and fellow Champions League finalists. In a hard-fought game where City went ahead by one goal in the First half and they also missed a penalty but in the second half, Chelsea began to outplay City and scored two goals to win.

Randall that's nice of you to say that, but the programmes were just gathering dust. And since the internet, we can look at them online.

Stephen, that was kind of you. I'm sure they appreciated your gift.

Randall I knew I was talking to a proper sports fan. It's like looking into a mirror. I gave my Chelsea match day programmes from the 60s and 70s to a friends son.

Sold my 1950's baseball card collection  the other day--all 3000+ cards. A dealer bought them after looking through each a every card! He knew what he was looking for. 95% of the total were "commons", not worth a whole lot. But there were several valuable cards, albeit not in mint condition to get the full price. But, I'm satisfied--maybe not "happy"--but glad they're going to a good place. I've gotten my thrills out of them for the past 70 years. Still, it's bittersweet.

Chelsea in the finals! Go team go!

Comment was by Stephen Brodie on April 17, 2021 at 9:03pm

Randall Chelsea has beaten the mighty Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA cup to play Leicester or Southampton in the final at Wembley stadium which holds 90.000 fans but because of covid, they will allow just 2.000 per team.
