The following is OLD, not quite 10 years old, presuming that the video was released not long after the Notre Dame debate between Sam Harris and William Lane Craig. That doesn't change the fact that, in a bit over 11 minutes, Harris effectively dismantles any claim that may be made, regarding the morality of the Christian religion. He points out the blunt unfairness of the conditions for attaining heaven and the rank absurdity of the possibility of redemption of the most vile criminal, all purely according to to an alleged carpenter-turned-rabbi who may have preached in Galilee, some 2,000 years ago.
To my mind, this is classic stuff, and it may be that you first saw it years ago. So maybe you'd like to see it again. Enjoy.
A very special video for me and many others. Thanks!
Special for me as well, Joan. The unfortunate fact is that Craig and his ilk are not going to let go of their hallucination. They are way too invested in it to do so, and they will continue to be a boat anchor around our individual and collective ankles until we can render them irrelevant to our continued progress as a species and a culture.
Sam Harris and Logic at its best.
Well worth several re-runs.
