My political compass

A lot of questions but here is where I ended up on the four point scale

Working link: https://www.politicalcompass.org/

This looked like an expanded version of the "World's Smallest Political Quiz", which also makes the point that one axis is insufficient to characterize political positions. Some of the questions here, to me, needed "it depends" rather than a simple "strongly agree / agree / disagree / strongly disagree" answer. (As I recall, the 10-question WSPQ doesn't force a positive or negative choice, offering "agree", "disagree", or "maybe / it depends / don't know / need more information".)

Astrology: Because millions of planets and stars have spent billions of years lining themselves up just to let you know that you will meet someone with brown eyes today.

And what does agreeing or disagreeing with "Astrology accurately explains many things" have to do with anything? My reaction was "what a load of codswollop!" Only later did I think that if you see people as fated by the stars to be lucky or unlucky, successful or not, you might be less likely to think of society as having a collectivist obligation to help everyone.

Anyway, I didn't save my result, but (no surprise to people who know me) like Davy I placed firmly towards the "left-liberal" lower left corner.

Shows you how much of a lefty I am I even bulked at taking the test. Lol
