Basically he's saying if exorcisms are performed more, by casting out the demon, it will balance out the growth in atheism. I guess we're all demon haunted. =)

The Catholic Church’s leading exorcist says he will ask Pope Francis to grant all priests the power to perform the ritual amid what he describes as “a huge demand” for the service.
Father Gabriele Amorth, who claims to have carried out 160,000 exorcisms himself, says he was prompted to make the request after witnessing what he insists was the Pope carrying one out in St Peter’s Square earlier this month.
Francis was filmed placing his hands on the head of a boy sitting in a wheelchair after a Pentecost Mass.
Father Gabriele Amorth claims to have performed 160,000 exorcisms himself
The boy, who was accompanied by a priest, appeared to convulse, with his mouth dropping wide open before exhaling deeply. (Scroll down for video.)
The Vatican played down reports Francis had applied the religious practice of evicting demons, with a spokesman claiming the Pope “didn’t intend to perform any exorcism.”
Whah, 160,000 is a lot and is a bit more than his Wikipedia page says
Amorth was born in Modena, Emilia. He was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in 1954 and became an official exorcist in June 1986, under the tutelage of Candido Amantini. He is a member of the Society of St. Paul, the Congregation founded by James Alberione in 1914.
Amorth's favorite film is The Exorcist. He thinks that it is substantially exact and based on a true story, although the special effects are exaggerated. In an interview with the London Sunday Telegraph that Father Gabriele Amorth stressed that "People need to know what we do."
In October, 2000, he said he had performed over 50,000 exorcisms (which ranged from "a few minutes" to "several hours" in length) meaning he averaged close to ten exorcisms per day during his career up to the year 2000. In March 2010, he claimed that number had increased to 70,000., corresponding to roughly 8 exorcisms per day on average from 1986-2010. He has also been quoted as saying that the senior officials of the Nazi Party were actively involved with Satanism and that both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were possessed. He attributes the number of exorcisms performed to his opinion that "People have lost the Faith, and superstition, magic, Satanism, or ouija boards have taken its place, which then open all the doors to the presence of demons
Bullshitters alway bullshit. =)
Looking at his face, he seems to be really haunted by the demons he is exorcising. Please tell me, 160K in 26 years, how many does he perform per day? And where do the demons run to?
And when I deconverted, it wasn't because I didn't believe in demons anymore, no I just no longer could buy superstition. I had reached my end with ghosts and gods.
He's full of it. If there were demons, they would have kicked his ass by now. =)
His cv reads something like
roles:President for life of association of ghosts busters
experience: 160K ghosts hounded and still counting.
This guy needs all the help
He would have to have performed 16.22430096078282 exorcisms per day!! or 0.6760125400326176 per hour!! Yeah and pigs have wings of angels!!!!!!
I think that if the Pope put his hands on my head, I would convulse and my mouth would drop open, but when I exhaled deeply it would be to say "Get me out of here".
Perhaps Amorth could make an Exorcise Video, then we could all do them in the comfort of our own homes.
Now there's a plan. =)
I'm sure if given the opportunity he'd perform lobotomies after exorcism failed.
