We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

What with the COVID-19 shutdown and all, Mrs. Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian, has taken to reading in her spare time, and what does she stumble upon?  A new work by author Chris Rodda: Theocracy To Religious Liberty, a description of how early Connecticut evolved from a theocratic state to a far more religiously enlightened member of the 13 colonies. Mrs. Bowers seems to be torn between being upset at this reversal of her Dominionist roots and seeming to promote the book repeatedly in her discussion here, as she is CONSTANTLY showing off the book cover while she bemoans the truths covered within its pages.

Ah, but I'm sure it all comes out in the end. What do you think, Mrs. Bowers?
