Gonna get right on that, are you?

Comment by Doone on July 5, 2020 at 7:30pm

A Scump hourly email looks like this = they need money, apparently.

This is your FINAL NOTICE, Doone.

So far, we've emailed you 4 times inviting you to join the Scump Presidential Honor Roll. Team Scump emailed you, my wife Lara emailed you, my brother Don Jr. emailed you, AND President Scump emailed you.

We’ve done everything we can to get you to join this prestigious group, and now I’m reaching out to let you know that this is your LAST CHANCE.

I’m holding your spot for the NEXT 3 hours. After that, your offer will permanently EXPIRE and you will no longer be considered for a spot on the Scump Honor Roll.

My Scump father is counting on YOU, Doone. Don’t let him down.

Killing themselves as well as the rest of us.

Comment by Stephen on July 5, 2020 at 11:25am

If Scump had any decency he would quit before the next election and if those around him had any honour they would try and convince him to stand down because of his Psychosis. None of these things will happen because Scump hasn't any decency and his cohort have no honour. We have to rely on the good sense and decency of the American people.

We're doomed.

Dear Republicans, you cannot save the American PEOPLE if you don't even believe in wearing a mask.

4th of July, England's Independence day.

When our pubs and restaurants and barbers reopen.

Whilst travelling back home down Kilburn High Road which has a plethora of pubs, the first thing I noticed was most of the more unpopular pubs were half empty and the popular ones were packed to the rafters. Pretty much the same as before the virus. I couldn't see anyone social distancing in my local. Before the pub's opened I did see work being done putting up the plastic sheeting to separate people but that seems to have been ignored once customers got into bars.  The pubs have been allowed to use the pavement(sidewalk) as long as it's wide enough people to pass safely. I can see a second spike coming at this rate.

This is what it's like to live in Borass's Britain.

Public not asked for addresses for weeks during virus tests

People being tested for coronavirus in England were not asked to provide addresses for weeks during the height of the pandemic, it has emerged.

The BBC understands Public Health England is now trying to match addresses to positive test results to understand the spread of the virus.

Councils say some of the case data they receive is "poor and incomplete".

The government said councils now have the ability to access data down to the "individual and postcode" level.

But Labour's shadow health secretary, Jonathan Ashworth, said the mistake "simply beggars belief".

During the hight of the lockdown in the UK, the government didn't require you to wear a mask, because they said they didn't want people buying them and taking them away from the healthcare professionals, instead they put out a story that masks were next to useless in preventing the spread of the virus, but now with the government opening up the economy, all of a sudden masks have become vital and on public transport legally enforceable.

Comment by Doone on July 4, 2020 at 10:06pm

Mask wearers also improve their chance of not getting sick and improve their chances of not be spreaders of the virus to others if they are asympomatic.  The USA was smarter in 1919

The influenza pandemic of 1918 and 1919 was the most deadly flu outbreak in history, killing up to 50 million people worldwide. In the United States, where it ultimately killed around 675,000 people, local governments rolled out initiatives to try to stop its spread. These varied by region, and included closing schools and places of public amusement, enforcing “no-spitting” ordinances, encouraging people to use handkerchiefs or disposable tissues and requiring people to wear masks in public.

Mask-wearing ordinances mainly popped up in the western states, and it appears most people complied with them. The nation was still fighting in World War I, and officials framed anti-flu measures as a way to protect the troops from the deadly outbreak.
