GOP Overtly Turned Against the Will of the People

Thankfully, being "far right" is not being allowed, at least not in the presidential detail. Maybe send them to the cold states to learn a little compassion.

Scump goes out a big loser but we still had to suiffer from 4 years of this incompetent idioot

Gallup's final polling for the Trump presidency is out. His final approval rating was 34%. He leaves the only president never to hit 50% job approval at any point in his presidency and is the least popular president in Gallup's polling history

I hate to see beautifully designed and expertly crafted building torn down for modern glass boxes! Spokane has lost some amazing structures. The small lumbering town of Newport, WA., has a lot of empty old storefronts that look as though they could be renovated. I know it costs money to bring old structures back to service, but I like idea.
One of the office buildings has an old phone that looks something like this and the old wiring is cut and hanging against the wall.

Modern is not always better.

Comment was by Stephen Brodie on January 17, 2021 at 4:10pm

Doone. I remember that poster plastered on the wall near the Shaftesbury Avenue exit of Piccadilly Circus. One sad thing about modern London is the absence of public toilets. Up until the eighties, Piccadilly circus station had the most ornate bathrooms where people could wash and shave surrounded by beautiful wood and marble washrooms, a hangover from the Victorian era. Afterwards, they gutted the station in the name of modernisation.

Saw this on Twitter

#PiccadillyCircus metro station is an "undergroundmark" in #London. Perhaps the #historical drawing below is one of the best diagrams ever made to show the complexity of an #underground 3D layout. Surprisingly enough this drawing is dated from 1928 and it shows remarkable level of detail and quality that could easily compete with the best modern #3D and #BIM models.

If you would like to know more about this impressive station check the latest London Transport Museum #hiddenLondon video: https://lnkd.in/dKcQpaX
