We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

It's 2:51AM and I'm awake from a nightmare. It feels as if what's happening to our country is eroding my mind, at least my mental stability. This was the tipping point. EPA Grants Oklahoma Control Over Tribal Lands

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted the state of Oklahoma regulatory control over environmental issues on nearly all tribal lands there, TYT has learned. This strips from 38 tribes in Oklahoma their sovereignty over environmental issues. It also establishes a legal and administrative pathway to potential environmental abuses on tribal land, including dumping hazardous chemicals like carcinogenic PCBs and petroleum spills, with no legal recourse by the tribes, according to a former high-level official of the EPA. [emphasis mine]

The EPA is an open champion of environmental destruction, and the fascist consolidation of power (coup) hasn't even quite happened. This treatment of Oklahoma tribes a foretaste of  "environment protection" for all of us if the Republican coup plans come to pass.

The nightmare is not over..

Trump is lying when he announced that he is freeing America from the"oppressive Obama laws" of ecological protection.

Is there no end to the tyranny imposed by this vovernment? U.S. government steals tribal lands without compensating the land-grab, kills the ability to support themselves by killing their livelihood, puts Natives in prison for fishing ancient tribal rivers and eating wild game, and violates yet another agreement by reversing "Tribal Sovereignty That Was Recognized in Landmark Supreme Court Ruling."
Is there no shame in these policies?

No shame, no reason, no logic, no sanity either.

and no rhyme

Trump and his friends don't know the meaning of the word shame least of all when stealing from the poorest of us the Native Americans

I does not matter whether you are First Nation or First People we are treated the same should any of our cultural heritage stand in the way of the white man they will change legislation to suit their businesses so they can pursue their delusion of making their monopoly money, for its value is the same as the board games money.

Our peoples lives are of little concern to them as we create headaches for  them in so many ways.
