We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

It would seem as though Christian Nationalism is finally getting on the radar of at least some of our news media.  CNN's John Avlon recently addressed the issue of Christian Nationalism with a segment of his “Reality Check.”  While he did not solicit the opinions of those of us who have no belief in any deity, he did interview one Amanda Tyler, Executive Director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, and she comes right out of the gate, flatly saying, “Christian nationalism is not Christianity,” and then proceeding to justify her statement in detail.

I would have liked to have heard a secular / atheist representative holding forth on this matter as well, as a part of this report, but the topic is well served by Avlon and Tyler, and I think they are worth your time and attention.

Excellent description of what Christian Nationalism really is, and how it has basically destroyed the Republican party. Hearing Boebert talking bullshit about what this country is should scare every thinking person in this country. That dude happily spewing nonsense about how the country is 98% Christian and they're not going to bend a knee to the 2% anymore I hadn't heard before. Crazy little shit. Try 63% down from 75% in the last decade or so.

Religion is on the decline because of the religious right. It is a terrorist group.

Great video, thanks.
