Brian Keith Dalton, a.k.a. "Mr. Deity," has been taking William Lane Craig to task lately for his lazy and generally not-horribly-thoughtful take on why belief in Yahweh is so essential to him and how wonderful it must all be to have the supposed…Continue

Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

Nice Comment
Hurray for you, Ian!
Elna looks pretty in her blue dress, standing in a field of green grass and young trees.
Ian, I have been out of commission for a while and did not realize you and Elna were no longer together; I am overjoyed you renewed your friendship and wish the very best for both you. Relationships require a lot of work and effort from both of you, and developing skilled communication comes first. Both of you are motivated and can build a strong relationship that can work through conflicts and problems.
My very best to you and Elna!
Hope things work better this time.
Terrific news, Ian!
Best wishes to both of you Ian
Best wishes to both of you!
By some sort of coincidence, serendipity or whatever, I'm now back together with former sweetie Elna. I hadn't seen her in a while and then met her socially a couple of weeks ago. We found it easy to talk, it emerged that we still had feelings for each other and we were able to discuss where we went wrong. We also cleared the air re. others. She'd been in a relationship and was almost ready to move in with him when it turned out he had a vile, vicious temper. I had hopes of someone but got mixed messages and it would have been a bad idea anyway. So, not back in the old routine - we're avoiding that - but together again and very glad of that. An old snap.
