Thank you Mrs.B, I think you are right but it still hate that he has made me feel this way.

Comment was by Mrs.B on August 7, 2022 at 2:05pm

You'd have that same feeling about anyone who'd done this, Stephen, Caucasian, Asian, Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, Green or Pink....your mind would automatically suspect whichever.....

Thank you Randall and yes very upsetting but what I hate most is that because the attacker was black I've begun to suspect all black men on the streets. Before the mugging, it didn't occur to me to see black men differently. It's definitely something I have to work on.

I'm so sorry, Stephen! After having my house broken into and ransacked, I can understand your feelings. It's quite upsetting.

I'm slowly getting back to normal Chris thanks for asking.

Such a horrible experience, Stephen! How do you feel now? Less rattled?

Comment was by Mrs.B on August 6, 2022 at 4:38pm

Oh the stuff of nightmares!

When the woman and I were talking to the police she was extremely upset because the coward hit her before snatching her handbag. I was rattled but she was really distraught. And yes Ian I've had so much support from my friends.

Comment was by Ian Mason on August 6, 2022 at 4:29pm

What a shitty thing to do! Your right, Stephen - a real coward. I'm not suprised you feel rattled. I hope you have someone you can lean on and talk to.

Comment was by Mrs.B on August 6, 2022 at 4:22pm

That is not good!!!!!! Glad you're alright, but what an awful fright for you when you can't really defend yourself!!!!!

I carry very little cash on me these days, & my handbag is attached to my scooter, or I sit on a flat package if needed.

I hope that woman is okay.
