G'day one and all.
Just letting you know we are slightly safer now that ORC's have now retreated from their attempt to capture Kyiv. The banshees are not wailing as much to warn us to take cover and be aware that there either aircraft or missiles in the region. Other than that life is pretty near normal but as always when war is upon the land that there are going to be things that will become unavailable so you just have make do with what you can obtain. but there is a good supply of grocery items despite the war.

Things are starting to get awkward for Herr Putler on the Russian front. With the oligarchs getting a bit worried about what is occurring both at home and in Ukraine. Those parts of the Russian Federation from where they conscripted men to fight in his so called special ops are wanting out of the Russian federation and forming their own little union. 

Now we just have to see which way the winds of change are going to be blowing us towards.

Mrs.B it's just unfathomable that a country like the US continues to allow gun ownership on a massive scale. So OK the government finds it difficult to enact gun control legislation but for f##ks sake do something.

NEW YORK (NewsNation) — Texas’s most recent mass shooting is drawing attention to the disturbing trend of rising gun violence in America. There have been more mass shootings in the U.S. than days in the year so far in 2022.

According to the Gun Violence Archive, which tracks mass shootings in the U.S., Tuesday’s gruesome school shooting at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school marks more than 200 mass shootings so far this year.

The issue of gun violence may be America’s new public health crisis, as the images of bullets and bodies lying on streets across the country have become almost unbearable.

Before the Uvalde attack, the largest-scale mass shooting this year happened two weeks ago when 10 Black shoppers were shot and killed during a racist attack at a Buffalo, New York supermarket. Now 19 children and two adults meet the same fate at Robb Elementary School.
