Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

Nice Comment
I'm so pleased Patricia for you and Rick that Chadd has managed to get down for a visit this weekend, say hi to Chadd for me.
I've been busy at the surgery having my yearly check-up but I too want to wish you and Luca all the best for Tuesday
A lot of detail.
Thanks, Ian, I think we'll be pleased when all is done.
That's a lot of work to be done and I can only admire the patience required to get through all of this. I hope the healing won't be too bad and that you're both pleased with the results.
And I forget the shaving of the adams apple...
I don't mind at all, Ian, it's good to talk about things that have such impact. It's one of the changes. Electric hair removal has been going on for some years every few weeks. Next week they'll repair a broken nose, make it smaller, shorten the upper jaw and upper lip, and in general make the face rounder and less angular. Next operation they'll remove the brow ridges and remove a strip of the skin of the forehead so the hairline comes down and the brows go up. All very painful and it will take months to heal. But we're both looking forward, not in the least because it has been a long haul. Five and a half years since coming out.
I haven't heard of facial feminization before. I hope you don't mind me asking, Chris. Is that a slight change in features or does it involve augmented lips, reducing hair growth and other more substantial alterations?
Thanks, Patricia! I'm dreaming of the time her transition will be finished! I hope this year!
Thanks, Chris.
You must be so excited for Tuesday. I'm sure things will go well.
