We're fine here Ian, thanks, but south of us is where all the damages have been occurring. We've had very high winds, but not much rain. A little wet snow the other day, but it melted off right away.

That doesn't look good, Chris. We've hear about the riots too. Stipidity and violence combined.

Things are getting bad again in Denmark. Masks are back in shops and public transport. Hand sanitiser has been the norm all the way through. Nothing's being closed but numbers are being limited at events and a vaccination certificate is required.

Good luck, Mrs B. Please stay safe.

It made our news last night Chris....NOT good!!!!

Lot of work Ian, but it's good to get the important things done.

Storms are just arriving down south now, & they are preparing as much as they can for them, but with so many repairs already being temporary, who knows what will be the end result after the next several days.

No shortages of food, so it's just a matter of getting it distributed throughout the whole province.

A pleasant place, Ian!

Here the Covid numbers are soaring higher than ever. New restrictions will be ordered tomorrow.

Oh dear, Mrs B. You've been through more than enough already. I hope it isn't too bad this time.

It was a very pleasant trip to England. Great Wenham, pop. 185 at the 2011 census. The house was built as a council house in the period 1945-50 and bought by the occupier in the 80s. It stood empty for a year before they moved in and there's been a lot of work over the past couple of months to make it livable, getting heating and lighting reliable and fixing leaks in the roof. A lot of effort also went into digging a fish pond as my brother wanted to keep the koi carp he's had for 20 years. They have plans for a mountain of things to do in the coming years but at a less frantic pace.

Enjoy, Ian. As you said, you don't know when you can get there again.

Another bad storm on it's way..........

Thanks Stephen, for dealing with the "interloper".

Ian, I know how you feel about traveling out of country. I was so stressed out planning to go to Spain and returning to the states in September.

Patricia, great map comparing BC to the British Isles. Devastating photo of your floods.

And, on a personal note, I finally got my chimney cleaned out, and have begun burning firewood in my furnace add-on.  Expensive--$434. Worth it!

It will be lovely for you to see old Blighty again but I think you might notice the creeping influence of religion here, that will depend on what part of the country you will be visiting. Hope you will have to nice visit with the family.
