Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

Good!
Mrs. B. I like, "kwitchurrbitchin!" I am a proud member of the group.
And Stephen, thanks for the laugh with "You Can't Hurry Lockdown"!
Joan, I may have some immunity, but can't count on it, especially with the new variants. Still waiting for the vaccine; too (relatively) young and healthy to be in one of the priority groups. I'll absolutely get it as soon as it's available.
Or pass on asking for medical help when they get sick.
The next time someone says to me that they are not prepared to take the vaccine. I'd just ask them to roll up their sleeves and explain to me what are those funny little marks they have had on their arms since childhood and explain why smallpox and Polio aren't seen anymore. Just asking.
As I've said many times....if you're still among the breathing, kwitchurrbitchin'.
Yes, lockdown offers challenges, especially when we expect problems and conflicts to resolve in the minutes it takes to tell the story, thinking life is like 50 minute Tv situation dramas.
My son-in-law had polio when he was two years old, and one leg is shorter than the other, badly malformed, and causes him pain and leg cramps every night and day of his life. He is locked down!
Stop bitching and whining that you don't like the inconvenience of lockdowns. Just be grateful that the curse has not infected anyone since 1979 in the US due to the successful vaccination program.
Take the whingeing elsewhere. I will have none of it.
A fun one, Stephen.
That's really well done!
