They are predicting heavy snow showers for tomorrow(Sunday) over much of England and perhaps even London. You guys who live in more wintery climbs probably think we Londoners are just wimps and when it comes to snow you would be right.

I am short so I put my feet on the fenders, & pack the floor with bags, as well as hang bags off the armrests. I have my walker holder on the back with hooks, & I can hang bags from there too.

I always bring my groceries home on the scooter, but I use it as my shopping cart around the store too, so nobody but me touches it. I know how to pack things so I can bring home a pretty hefty load, including bags of flour or potatoes. I could always go every day too until I got everything I needed, but now, I shop non perishables on amazon or other sites, & only get the fresh food at the grocery store, every 10 days or so.
The greenhouse provides many of our veggies through a couple of months but it's a short season.
No, we have no such program here that I know of. We had one at one time called Helping Hands, but it no longer exists.

Oh! I forgot! A scooter isn't the best transport system for a household's food supply. How did you get your groceries before COVID?
$30.00 is too steep and with the rising cost of food, one would have to live off of the land. Does Rick's greenhouse supply enough fresh greens in the summer? I know winter growing is impossible, it least it is for our greenhouse.
In Spokane, we had a program, "Senior Services," that helped solve these kinds of problems; is there such a program in Williams Lake?

Don't know. Online shopping is brand new here, so I'm still in learning stage at what they do. Even with pick up, they don't know how to do it to go on my scooter....I have to do that.
