I'll be on the agenda at the Danish 'Folketing' next Spring: the next-to-last formal stage of becoming a Danish citizen. The final stage, after the bill passes is shaking hands with the mayor. That's compulsory, a measure to discourage strict Muslims: the women won't if it's a male mayor and the men won't if the mayor is female. Of course it may well still be with masks and gloves next year.

Most of DK now going into partial lockdown: shops and take-aways to remain open, everything else closes. Common sense, really as infection rates are rising sharply. Roll on the vaccine roll out. I'll be getting it as soon as I can.

Your pubs operate differently than ours do. You must sit down in ours & wait to be served your drink or food. Always been like that. Even if you're playing pool or darts, etc. you have to sit down to take a drink from your glass. Mind you, I haven't been in a bar for decades so that may have changed.
