I thought this video might cheer people up a little.

This is a great time for we normally loners, who don't socialize, to just be are usual loner selves. Mask & gloves to get groceries every 10 days or so, no big deal. We're helping our son through his bankruptcy with gift cards for food, & needed winter clothing.

Thanks, Ian, I hope you find as much happiness. Public transport is no fun at all, and risky, better be careful!

Chris, that you and Luca are growing closer is a ray of sunshine in gloomy times.

Dk has introduced further restrictions but not gone into full lockdown. There's still theatre, concerts etc. but to venues with one third capacity to ensure distancing and with masks obligatory on the way in and out. I keep mine on all the time. The thing that worries me now is Xmas. I have to travel for several hours by bus and train if I'm to see my daughter and her family so the risk of exposure to an infection is much greater particularly as it's the busiest time of the year.

How are you all managing under Covid threat?

Comment was by Chris B on October 30, 2020 at 2:12am

Still no full lockdown here, Joan. Regular health care is at a quarter of its capacity, waiting lists are lenghtening rapidly. The government follows advice from contagion experts, but the rules have changed a few times, due to incomplete info. That gives room for people who like complot theories - very unpleasant. Luca and I keep to our own plan; we avoid almost all people, do our daily walk and shopping and occupy ourselves at home. We are each other's support system, using every small positive thing to make ourselves feel happy. I hear that many relations fall apart in Covid times, but we grow even closer together.

Chris B, Wonderful cartoon of a wolf and some sheep. Right on!
I know listening to the talk that the depressed person imposes on one, and it is a valuable part of recovery. I hope you have a support system that you can rely on to express your feelings.

Comment was by Joan Denoo on October 29, 2020 at 4:21pm

Chris B, I follow the virus numbers for The Netherlands and I am sure the citizens are ready for a full lockdown by now. What has been the national policy to counteract the contagion?

Comment was by Mrs.B on October 29, 2020 at 12:54pm

We watched PBS last night too, Randy. Sounds positive for hopefully removing some carbon, as long as it goes global, & we smarten up.
