Who can get through a day of the 2016 presidential campaign and not think of this? Here's part of how my mom did it in the late 1930s and the 1940s. I didn't know what she had in mind when she raised us as if there was no such thing as boys' work or…Continue

Onyango. No, I'm afraid it only looks back to yesterday haha

Yeah, Joan estate comes from the days when aristocrats owned large estates of land and I figure they would let us poor people live on estates as well lol. Lord Elgin owned much of the land in this part of London and many of the streets and buildings are named after Scottish places.

Comment by Joan Denoo on September 16, 2020 at 9:51am

Stephen, What a wonderful view of London you must have from your home! My wish for you is that the electricity always works and you don't have to climb those stairs! The spelling of Maida Vale Estate and the four street names, Carlton Vale, Lanark Road, Maida Vale, and Elgin Avenue look and sound pretty. When I was in Hong Kong, many street names sounded British and the building where my friend lived was named an "Estate," an unfamiliar name to my ears.

Randy, I love your front porch and imagine you sitting  there nibbling on the fruits of your labors in the garden.

It's interesting to see where A/U followers live. I shared many photos of my home in Indiana as a member of "Nexus". Permit me to toss one in here.

Chris B sorry to hear about your worsening hearing problem. I've found that in-ear headphones help me, but you've probably tried that already.

Comment by Chris B on September 16, 2020 at 3:04am

Yes, I thought you don't use the scooter for fun. I hope you'll find what you want.

At last I've caught up on the videos you posted! Those on the canals are very hard on my worsening hearing and I loved the other two!

Comment by Mrs.B on September 15, 2020 at 3:57pm

I agree Stephen, 14 floors is too much for scooter people.
