I'm still debating on whether to attend a family gathering for T-giving (held at the parents of my son-in-law's) or not. I doubt if anybody will wear masks except me. Is the delicious food worth the risk?

Randall here in the UK the government are strongly discouraging non-family(Bubble)gatherings but are hoping to relax the lockdown rules for Xmas

Enclosed in a house at meal time?, no distance?, & even you can't eat with a mask on. No, delicious food can be had anytime, but not with a gathering.

My wife and I will be hosting my best friend for music and dinner, as we have for the past several years. So long as none of us have been exposed to the coronavirus, I see no reason to change those plans.

Loren only the immediate family can be invited into your home whilst the UK lockdown rules are in place. How do you know that your friends aren't Covid positive? But to be honest I'm fed up to the High teeth with all these petty rules

Stephen, this is my best friend we're talking about here. I've known him for over 40 years. I trust his judgment as it comes to this business, and if he had any suspicion about being COVID-19-Positive, I have little doubt but that he'd say so.

Loren I was clumsily trying to get across that Boris was being too naive when he tries to limit only family members that can come into your home. I think close friends should be allowed to visit.
