I'm not a vegetarian. But as years go by, I eat less and less of red meat; and this is not exactly out of concern for the cows but because red meat doesn't appeal to me anymore. I prefer chicken though I eat less and less of it. So my diet is…Continue

Nice Comment
Might be worth a try.
I agree with you Mrs.B the last thing that should happen is wasted vaccines. I wouldn't mind taking a chance myself and see if I could get the second jab.
Joan you are lucky to live close to your daughter and granddaughter. I'm only in my mid-60s but sadly all of my immediate family have died. I was the youngest in my family by a long way. I was twenty years younger than my next sister. As you can imagine my mother was surprised to have me so late after my and sisters.
It should definitely not be wasted after all the trouble to get the shipments.
People have phoned into my local radio station LBC claiming that younger people have turned up at their local vaccine sites and have been offered a Pfizer jab at the end of the day because doctors and organisers have been concerned that the Pfizer vaccine would have to be thrown away because it can't be stored once it has been taken out of the dry ice. I have no worries about this.
Ian, as to the pee matter. I can be any place, doing anything, with others or alone and without warning, my Depends are full. I have lost control of all my sphincters, even my swallowing one.
I probably won't die because of wet or dirty Depends, but the swallowing could be deadly. After a couple of bad episodes, the family members received a quick training in the Heimlich Maneuver. Even my great-grandchildren learned it.
I am grateful that my daughter and one granddaughter are First Responders for Medical Emergencies. They have monthly training to improve and increase their abilities to respond when a medical problem occurs. Neither one has formal education in medical emergencies; living in a small community, we have few formally trained nurses willing to volunteer.
Fire Dist 8, an all-volunteer district, gets calls for help with fire, medical, and strange other requests, such as helping a farmer trapped by bails of hay.
It's odd though isn't it that tap and bottled water alone has that effect. I used to think that it was the fluoride in tap water but even more expensive pure bottled has the same effect. WEIRD
Ian, thanks for bringing us up to date on your health exam; I wanted to ask, even as I didn't want to impose. Your idea to chew certain foods more is a good idea.
I have a habit of eating fast and not paying attention to the taste. I'll join you in changing my habit and chew more.
I do believe it Stephen. As a person who has reflux, even water was a problem at the time, but since I got proper meds, & changed my diet around, I'm fine now.
People often don't believe me when I tell them that I can't drink neat water because within minutes of drinking it I get terrible heartburn or acid reflux but if I add a little Barley water or Orange squash I don't have a problem. I've cut back my Tea and coffee consumption at home and only drink good coffee when I go shopping.
