Nice Comment
Good plan, Patricia. I don't often feel thirsty, but we got ourselves used to drinking big mugs of herb tea or water at fixed times. It works.
I never wait to be thirsty. I have my fluids on my side table all day long, starting with water, then green/black tea, & then my 2 cups of coffee, & after supper, it's water again, or a dealcoholized wine/beer.
I have to urinate often during the day, but not enough to bother me much.
That's good news Ian.
I'm almost never thirsty and if I let that be my guide, my urine is too dark, so I try to remember to drink enough and I am getting better at that.
The only time I get thirsty is before bedtime, so I try to drink enough during the day so I can reduce my water intake before bed. However, I still have to urinate about 3 times during the night.
I have a urinal that I use in bed so I don't have to get out of bed. That works well because I usually have no trouble going right back to sleep.
I hardly drink any water (which I know I should), just so I don't have to pee all the time. Still, I'm always going. Luckily, I rarely have to get up at night. Happy to hear your kidney report turned out okay, Ian.
My frequency is during the night....most annoying when I already have a sleep deprivation issue. The if I have a colitis flare....it can be 30 times a day/night.
Yes, it's nice that there's nothing serious wrong. To be blunt: do others feel that they pee 3 times as much as they drink? Think more and more of 'where's the nearest/next toilet'? I admit to a generous tea and coffee consumption and am wondering if I should start to ration myself. The urgency is greatest during the morning/midday hours and tails off during the afternoon.
Great news, Ian!
Well done Ian so pleased for you
Good news, Ian, congratulations!
