What Obama said vs. what the Jews News heard--pretense or what?

“Opposition in some cases has been based on sincere and deeply held beliefs,” Obama said. “All of us who welcome today’s news should be mindful of that fact. Recognize different viewpoints. Revere our deep commitment to religious freedom.”

What was reported:

Obama tells Americans to Deny Jesus and Overcome their Religious Views

Will someone help me because I'm not an English native? Or do we have to be Jews to understand Jews News?

Of course Obama doesn't say anything of the sort. He was just asking progressives who support the same sex marriage bill to show understanding of those who for religious reasons cant bring themselves to show support for the bill. But to my mind this understanding can only go so far. Especially when these same religiously motivated people go further and attack gay couples.

That looks like fake news, or opinon pieces barely worth reading.

Any comment about PASTOR DESIREE ALLEN, pregnant, single and with no regret?

Smells like anti-semitic language to me.

For what it's worth I'm anti semetic in that I dislike Abrahamic religions and the one gowd myth.

Myths of desert people seems to be different than people from areas with higher rainfall and more diversity.

The desert proves to offer distinct and different species.  When in drought though perhaps some don't have the time to explore it.

Is Isreal a secular nation as its constitution claims?

Is Netanyahu a racist?

Why do American  biblical litteralists support him? Perhaps because of biblical myth that eventually Jews will become born again and become xtian therefore Bejesus will come back to save the world from eternal damnation.

Secularism begins separation of religion and state. Israel, like USA are far from that. How can a country with many religious people be practically secular?

I guess because we in the U.S don't want another civil war.

The war had its origin in the factious issue of slavery, especially the extension of slavery into the western territories. Four years of intense combat left 620,000 to 750,000 soldiers dead, a higher number than the American military deaths of World War I and World War II combined, and destroyed much of the South's infrastructure. The Confederacy collapsed and slavery was abolished in the entire country. The Reconstruction Era (1863–1877) overlapped and followed the war, with its fitful process of restoring national unity, strengthening the national government, and granting civil rights to the freed slaves.

I don't think the U.S. recovered from that terrible war.

Fortunately some in the U.S. realize that there are different belief systems as kookie as they may be.  The war perhaps should be fought in the battle of laws, public optnion and democracy.

President Obama showing how fragile democracy is.

we in the UK have a state church, the Church of England. But ironically I suspect we are more secular than both the US and Israel. I think its because nobody takes a blind bit of notice of the C of E. If like me you have ever had to sit through a Anglican sermon on a Sunday you'll know how mind numbingly boring it is.

Norweigans and other nations also have state religions. Perhaps leaning about religious wars makes one yawn.  I'm board of it, though it seems to be a never ending battle of whits against nonsense.

Jesus's resurrection is actually the foundation of christianianism. In it, most of the theological questions are answered. That's why it's always hailed in each congregation.
