I'm all for globalization, but feel free to share us your thoughts on globalization

The bankers  have taken over the  economy for the benefit of the 0.1%.

Isn't that obvious?

The democratic process has been hi -jacked.

I'd like to see money taken out of democracy.  The best way to do that here in the U.S. is to allow each person to donate say ±500 for a donation to the democratic cause of their choosing without allowing any other donations.

I looked at that and saw that the last election was ruled and controlled by money.

If each person was allowed to contribute approximately $500 - that would be the same amount as the rich people  contributed to the total.

The only way to made democracy work is to get money out of politics. Here in the U.S. If each person were able to donate $500 as a tax donation to a political cause then the total would be higher than the total of the riches.

The fascists movement doesn't understand economics, or politics. They play the world of movements of people in this ever changing world of changing ecology.

The bottom line is that we as a world have to make the world a better place to live within our ecology.

I don't know about the bankers , the subject here is Globalization , in the meaning of the absence (or almost the absence) of barriers set by governments on trade, trade exchange. I think globalization helps democracy.

For example. does any individual need billions of dollars in holdings? Some control enough money to hire mercenaries to fight wars.

I see a problem with the tax structure here in the U.S. where the system is rigged to support great wealth (The 0.1%).

Democracy has been hijacked.

The economic and banking system is "Globalization." It's a power grab that has gotten so out of control that the top 140, or even top 6000 richest people in the world control international government policy. War is a (chess) game to them and a way to make money and to control resources.

Jamie Diamond, and other bankers are sociopaths. Unfortunately, here in the U.S. the Supremes have supported their take over of the election process.

Well the way they are going about globalisation is more like global rape of resources and people!

This so called Globalisation is just a smoke screen to exploit people and resources!

For instance Renault has a plant in Romania building a very successful no frills car, but they are threatening to close the plant down and move to Morocco unless the workers lower their wage demands!

Same with Thailand the so called kitchen of the world at the moment why, because they are exploiting the people there due once again to so called lower wages and lower living standards.

Where companies can exploit loop holes to avoid paying taxes, using the excuse of lower wages in one country to exert pressure on the labour force in another country by intimidating them with removal of the plant should they try and get a decent LIVING WAGE in their country! Also stating in documents that any dispute has to go to arbitration not to court and in New York as this company deals world wide!

True Globalisation is where a company sets-up in another country  at first just to satisfy that market with their goods while at the same time helping to develop education so that down the track they have educated skilled workers and also a more educated and thus higher paid workers not only employed by them but all the ancillary companies that spring up to supply the original company with goods and services meaning that there are more people able to buy their products.

This would also improve the living standards of all the people of the country, even the ones living in the back blocks of the country!

I am not saying that the idea of globalisation is wrong just the way it has been implemented

To satisfy the 1% not the 99% and to rip resources out of the ground without any real thought to the people that actually have the right to the resources and the environment!

I'll say it's not only the rape of the people, but it's the rape of the planet

Check out this pollution.

Ah, but if you can have air conditioning and air filters  (which is big business in China) then you don't have to suffer with the terrible pollution.

The video I posted isn't fog, or smog - it's air pollution!!!!

This is the global economy - take advantage of the countries that have the lowest wages and environmental controls.

Capitalism at it's greatest. It show why it needs to be controlled.

if my memory serves me correctly, Some of the South Korea rivers were very, very polluted but they clean it up with time. I think you missing the point, thanks to Globalization, china has been able to do in 10 years, what took the U.S two centuries to do.

This is why China was able to do what the west took two centuries to do,

http://spectrum.ieee.org/aerospace/space-flight/china-the-next-spac...

It is political will there more than economic will that is why China is leading America when it comes to green energy because Political will power!

Do not forget that China also did like Japan did and that was reverse engineer components that they could lay their hands on.

When you can just pull up stakes in one country and go to another country to produce your goods because you cannot make you so called growth figures for the year it is called Exploitation nothing less!

As I mentioned earlier Globalisation is good as long as it does not exploit the people of a region nor their resources.

Point in case Australia is supplying the world with Iron ore but very little of the revenue generated by its exploitation is returned to the Australian people but going to line the fat wallets of off shore investors and that goes for all her resources!

Globalisation was begun because the markets were reaching saturation point and not providing the profits that the investors wanted. So they had to create new markets which meant they needed stable governments in place that were friendly to Americas thinking!

Also part of the blame can also rest with the people not wanting to pay slightly more for goods manufactured or produced in their own country!

sure, it is not like the border will open itself without political will. China says it is "Socialist state," but the truth is, it's a very capitalist country with a strong sense of unity and national pride. Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest investors in China, in 2008, Saudi industrialists have invested over 48 billion in the heart of China. also the Saudi oil giant companies invested in China, they transfer some of Saudi technology in the petrochemical industry to China. and all their production there is consumed in China (because the demand is very high in China).

Japan doesn't have that much of natural resources, what do you want them to do? Stop buying African resources ?

Globalization has existed for thousands of years, Arabians used to go as far as North China, then selling their goods in the Arabian Peninsula, and North Africa. now it's different, now there's a legal structure more pronounced context, more rational understanding for globalization.

China is very much a ONE PARTY STATE, period! A socialist state.

Way back in history yes they were trading but they were not turning mountains into bloody big holes in the ground either nor were they clearing forests like a shearer's hand blade!

Globalisation has only existed since the 1990's No earlier!

Africa is still being raped of its  resources and the people get sweet bugger all for their resources!

Saudi may be investing in China but you want to have a good close look at the fine print in the contracts!

The Japanese buy more iron ore and coal from Australia than they do Africa!

they have multiple parties under the leadership of the one-party CPC. they are not socialist state, they are pure capitalism with it's Chinese characteristics. they can call it whatever they want, still it's pure capitalism.

it's not "maybe" , Saudis are there right-now and did invested in China in 2013 alone the trade grew 14% between Saudi Arabia and China. it's bloody profitable to do so with them and it will only get better .

so what about japan? should they stop "stealing" the Australian and African resources?

why would the iPhone industrialists make their iPhone in the U.S while it can be made much cheaper in China?

Way back in history yes they were trading but they were not turning mountains into bloody big holes in the ground either nor were they clearing forests like a shearer's hand blade!

but this is the price of modern civilization, do you want the Central Africa people not live in an urban area, new city? they need to cut the forests down, look to the U.S A LOT of their towns , big cities were in the past rain forests. These people also have the right to live in modern life, and they will eventually .

Name the parties?
