We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

Don't let the high cost of health care for elderly people, who are past their reproductive years, confuse this issue.

It's only the costs of health care before the reproductive years, such as for remedying birth defects, that affect the gene pool.

Is "So what?" the humane answer?

We seem to be mostly fine here.

The problem with 'conservatives, or Republicans' for lack of better terms seems to be mostly about restricting birth control measures.

Doesn't it seem some want more viagra and less condoms?

Do some of these guys think every ejaculation is sacred - beyond that parents are on their own and shame on them for having sexual intercourse.

Some of the old guys in congress who think a snow ball is proof climate change isn't happening may be better served if they went back to college to reinvigorate their knowledge of the world around them rather than the bubble lived in filled with lobbyists.

If our representatives spoke and listened to their constituents more than the lobbyists maybe our government would work better.

The only way that's going to happen is with campaign finance reform.

I'm not for term limits because I know it takes years to pass legislation.

Lobbyists are writing legislation rather than congress. There is something fundamentally wrong with that.
