Who are you, what brought you here, where are you coming from, when were you made aware of AU, why did you decide to join...
haha! Carl, I guess I know how to be persuasive haha! :-))
Good to have you here, Mike, and thanks for introducing yourself. If you like science, please join our many science groups, under Groups, from the Main page.
Thank you all for the welcome....my education is in the field of electronics technology and broadcast engineering, so, I understand the workings of particles to the atomic level. It is fascinating to me how everything works to form our complex world from such simple structures. How amazing it is how nature created such diversity on our little rock in space. As humans we have such a great structure to carry our brain around and create our own environments more suitable for our comforts and desires. I believe our greatest challenge is the management of population and resources.
cool, michael, real nice to know ya, man.
The wonders a cloud of hydrogen and a couple of simple laws can do!
Welcome aboard Michael.
It's time for the traditional Page 10 Random Music clip:
This reminds me of the movie Tap, with Gregory Hines, and the final Tap dancing scene in the streets, using organic urban street sounds from NYC to inspire him with his dance routine.
Great video, lots of interesting visualizations and random sounds. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed.
Amon Tobin does a lot of interesting and unusual things with percussion.
Hi everyone! My name is Kim. I was raised Southern Baptist. I was a fundamentalist until two-and-a-half years ago when I met an atheist online. He exposed me to real science for the first time. He also exposed me to biblical contradictions and mistranslations. I began to read, study, and learn as I never had before that point. My life was transformed.
I live in Alabama with my son and my fiance. I enjoy reading, chatting with atheists, dancing, and running. My family and I take frequent trips to the library and the park, and we also like to watch movies together and play ball together.
Nice to meet you! Another runner, great!
Welcome aboard Kim.
You'll be glad to know there's some good science going around Atheist Universe.
And not that much talk about religions, except where it hurts, of course =)
