I’m new here
Hello to everyone. I joined last night and got my email confirmation this morning. I joined this site as I truly need the intelligent conversations that I know I’ll find with fellow Atheists and Agnostics. I had been on another site for the past four years after losing my husband in 2018. Alas, the other site may cease to exist after next month. I’ve made many friends there and hope if the site does close down that those members will come here. This site was recommended by a member at the other site as she is also a member here.

There are a lot of negatives about the internet, but one positive is that it's no longer necessary to be lonely. If you're not the type that fits in at your local church or VFW or tennis club, you can probably find like-thinkers somewhere in the world.
