I’m new here
Hello to everyone. I joined last night and got my email confirmation this morning. I joined this site as I truly need the intelligent conversations that I know I’ll find with fellow Atheists and Agnostics. I had been on another site for the past four years after losing my husband in 2018. Alas, the other site may cease to exist after next month. I’ve made many friends there and hope if the site does close down that those members will come here. This site was recommended by a member at the other site as she is also a member here.

I certainly hope "the other site" doesn't disappear next month. It's interface is so different that I'll never get used to this one. I like, for example and this is a desktop, being able to click on one button and see info on all recent posts to all groups I haven't blocked. Here it doesn't seem you can do that.

I definitely feel you on that one. There is a learning curve, or f**king steep learning hill. Hang in there, and I say that to me as much as to you.

It really doesn't take long to learn your way around this site. We can also use animated gifs, here, where we couldn't on agnostic.

I’m glad to hear that Agnostics is not going away. I am having a lot of difficulty with this site. Not as user friendly as Agnostics. I probably won’t be over here much.
