I watch TV often.

I have a four-year-old son. He would DIE without his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Spongebob. I'm sure of it. He also likes his movies: Madagascar, Coraline, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dinosaur, Cars, Treasure Planet...just to name a few. (He would also just die without his board games, flash cards, and Mickey books that I must play with him and read to him every night.)

I watch the Science channel and the History channel often. Because I like them.

As far as sitcoms, reality TV, etc....I have no use for them and find them monotonous.
I had been without cable/regular tv for about 4 years until last week. We have over a thousand channels but I haven't found anything I'm too interested in other than the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. Most of the time, I watch documentaries/news online, rent dvds or buy documentaries from mediaed.org.
Not really, but I don't have satellite or cable (only the local channels) so that could have a lot to do with it. lol I have to be incredibly bored to turn on the TV. There are a few shows I try to catch every week though and if I hear about an interview or appearance I really want to see, of course I'll be sure to be there.
Yes, but not often 'cause I'm in college right now.  I still enjoy my mindless entertainment when I can get it.
I watch no regular TV. I follow a few shows, but those I like enough to follow I just buy on DVD. I do watch some TV at the gym. I guess the best way to put it is that TV isn't worth paying for, but The Office is.
I watched TV for news, my favorite sports, documentaries I watched TV quite a lot because it gives me information and knowledge. Because in my country it is the cheapest way to acquire knowledge for middle and lower middle class. Libraries are not common in my country and internet facility is expensive. Cable is used only in big cities I wish that DTH service should be encouraged by government because it could be helpful for curbing extremism in my society. Used monitors imported from developed countries like yours and then converted to TV are very common and cheap.
