We are a worldwide social network of freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and secular humanists.

With the passing of the queen and all the pomp and pageantry going on here in Australia, people are now polarised as never before.

While she was our monarch, there was a respectful quiet discussion between Royalists and republicans about Australia’s future.

She was the calm, now the storm rapidly approaching.

We have had a referendum on becoming a republic before . It was defeated because the politicians insisted that they elect the president themselves. Several models were proposed each option favouring the politicians over the people. Consolidating power in their hands.

Today we have an urban conflict!

Whose camp are you in?

Republican or Constitutional Monarchy??

Gone is the respect and dignity the queen imparted to our society, now the Monarchy itself seems to be under threat from within as well as without.

An era has definitely passed with Queen Elizabeth's passing.

Our republicans are now more vocal and aggressive as never before.

People are now just as polarised with the republican issue as with their all important, favourite football team and code. (AFL or Rugby league and or union)

So which side do I barrack for ? Monarchy or Republican, given my German origin?

Perhaps Mark Twain was spot on when he said “religion was born when the first fool met the first rogue. The first rogue saw that he could wield considerable power by creating and channelling ,a mythical divine entity that is supreme and all powerful.

The ambitious, greedy and ruthless then utilised this heirachical pyramid structure for their own glorification whims and wants until now, where it has become an integral part of societal structure..

Why is our society structured like a pyramid? The few at the very top rule the lives of all multiple levels of the pyramid in which the multitude of the bottom layer support each level above them.

It has always been so in our westernised society, all through history and in most lands and continents.

Whether we become a republic, or not, this societal structure , will remain the same heirachical pyramid it has been since colonisation.

What if there were an alternative?

Where people live in a horizontal societal structure?

Would this be possible??

"Mullity Nik-Ken-Bah" States in his book “Humanity Its Return To New Civility” that this alternate social structure is not ony possible, but has been practised for well over 70 000++ years successfully.

The author explains it in his own words in the following excerpt of page three of his book “Humanity It’ s Return To New Civility”

Mullity Nik-Ken-Bah —Mulubinba, Awabakal Ngurambang.

The following words are my thoughts in regards to a Social Structure of a Society based upon

Equality based upon my observations and experiences as well as listening to the wise people of

Humanity down through the history of Humanity.

Will it be possible to create such a structured Society?

Yes! It is possible since it was the only way that my people’s culture is the oldest continuous

culture in all of humanity’s history enduring for sixty five thousand years plus even though

before the arrival of the Europeans there were around five hundred languages spoken and just

as many mobs but yet my people did not evolve or devolve into the style of Social Structure

which is based upon Inequality.

Each mob lived their lives according to their own Lore/Law and customs that precluded the possession of the land as they viewed themselves Stewards of the land not the Masters of the land. A reason the early explorers remarked upon the landscape as being park like even though the wildlife roamed the landscape free and unhindered.

Their way of life also caused ,Lieutenant Cook, as he sailed up the East Coast of our land to make this remark in his journal “They have no leaders.”

The reason he could came to that conclusion was that unlike the European social structure which he was accustomed to where their leaders stood out like sore thumbs, ours did not! And yes we did have leaders but they did not big note themselves so they stood out. Because they were bound to the Lore/Law of their mob. They

broke the Lore/Law they faced the same consequences as any other individual in the mob as

they had no privileges nor entitlements. The mobs respect for them came from their

knowledge of the Lore/Law and the wisdom they showed as they lived their lives.

3Was this structure perfect? No! As a structure built upon equality is mutable and a work in

progress as their knowledge grew and situations called for a rethink of the Lore/Law to suit

that generation at that time.

Republican or constitutional Monarchy, which camp am I in?

Neither, I dream of a society structure where all people contribute equally and are in fact equal as described above. It would not be a perfect society, but adaptable and equitable.
